Moving to the West Coast of Yzerfontein was a huge decision for Hennie and Delia De Bod. After living in the city for most of their lives, they decided to move to this picturesque fisherman’s village.

Yzerfontein is known for its 16 mile beach, the longest uninterrupted sandy beach coastline. It stretches from the main beach to the West Coast National Park which borders Yzerfontein.

They bought “On The Beach” in 2013 and has been renovating this beach front property since then. They build the 2 beautiful self-catering apartments which is only 20 steps away from the beach…the perfect location for a quiet and relaxing beach holiday.

Yzerfontein is 90 km from Cape Town, 50 km from Langebaan, The Casino and Club Mykonos and 27 km from Darling.

The West Coast Flower Region boasts more than 1200 species of flowering plants and is host to visitors from all over every year. The wildflower season is from August to October.
